How we handle your data.
The short version
We collect only what we need to run the Club. We do not sell your data. We use a small number of carefully chosen tools to take payments, send the Sunday letter, and keep the lights on. If you want to leave, you can, and we will delete you.
What we collect
- Email and name when you join the waitlist, the Club, or write to us.
- Payment information handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your card number.
- Member preferences if you tell us things about how you want to be contacted.
- Aggregate, anonymous traffic data (page views, country, referrer) so we can understand what's working. No cookies, no personal profiling.
How we use it
- To deliver what you signed up for (the Club, the letter, the events).
- To process payments through Stripe.
- To send you the Sunday letter and event invitations.
- To remember who is and is not a member.
Who we share it with
Only the tools we use to run the Club:
- Stripe for payments and subscription management.
- Netlify for hosting.
- Google Workspace for email correspondence.
- An email delivery provider for the Sunday letter (under review).
That is it. We do not sell your data. We do not run ad pixels on you. We do not pass your information to brands or labels.
Your rights
Write to hello@smcsundayclub.com and we will:
- Send you a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete you on request, fully, within fourteen days.
Cookies
We use no third-party tracking cookies. We may set a small session cookie when you log in to the members lounge, used only to remember that you are signed in. No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers.
Children
SMC Sunday Club is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this document, we update the date at the top and email members about anything that materially affects them.
